PRINCE ALBERT, Saskatchewan
Application (199914122) by the CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION (CBC).
The licensee proposes to add a transmitter at Prince Albert operating on the frequency 89.1 MHz (channel 206B) with an effective radiated power of 24,980 watts to offer the programming of CBK-FM Regina.
The proposal would require an amendment to the broadcasting licence for CBK-FM which offers local programming and the CBC's Radio Two network service.

Application (199807007) by IMAGE WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS INC., P.O. Box 250, Yorkton, Saskatchewan, S3N 2V7.
The licensee proposes to decrease the effective isotropic radiated power of the transmitter at Yorkton from 19 to 18 watts. This decrease will not affect the coverage and quality of the service provided by its (MDS) radiocommunication distribution undertaking.

The licensee proposes to add an FM radio transmitter at Banff operating on the frequency 100.1 MHz (channel 261A1) with an effective radiated power of 92 watts to offer the programming of CKIK-FM Calgary.
The proposal would require an amendment to the broadcasting licence for CKIK-FM which offers local programming .

Application (200000315) by ROGERS RADIO (BRITISH COLUMBIA) LTD., 36 Victoria Street, Toronto, Ontario, M5C 1H3.
The current licence of CKVX-FM (formerly CKSR-FM) Chilliwack contains a condition of licence requiring that all permanent studio facilities of the station be located outside the Greater Vancouver Regional District. This application requests the removal of that condition.
The applicant believes that economic viability and support of programming improvements for local audiences in the Fraser Valley area would be enhanced if CKVX-FM could share administrative and programming facilities with other Rogers Broadcasting radio stations in the Greater Vancouver area.
