Public Notice CRTC 2000-133
Ottawa, 22 September 2000
Revised lists of eligible satellite services
The three lists appended to this public notice supersede the lists appended to Public Notice CRTC 2000-7 dated 13 January 2000.
Addition of WFXT-TV (FOX) to the lists of Part 2 and Part 3 eligible satellite services

1.

In Decision CRTC 2000-394 dated 22 September 2000, the Commission approved an application by Bell ExpressVu Inc. to add certain U.S. television services to the list of signals that its satellite relay distribution undertaking is authorized to distribute. The lists of Part 2 and Part 3 eligible satellite services appended to this notice have been amended accordingly. The list of DTH eligible satellite services is appended for convenience.
Other matters

2.

Class 1 and Class 2 licensees are reminded that, in accordance with the Distribution and Linkage Requirements for Class 1 and Class 2 licensees (Public Notice CRTC 2000-129 dated 14 September 2000), a condition of licence is required in order to distribute, as part of the basic service, signals appearing on the Part 2 list.

3.

Because Class 1 and Class 2 licensees must distribute the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network as part of the basic service following Distribution Order 1999-2, it is no longer necessary for APTN to appear on the Part 2 list.
