Digital network access

The Commission approves Bell Canada's request to extend to 31 August 2000, the promotion which waives the applicable service charges for a four-month period for customers who convert from Hyperstream service to frame relay service. It also pertains to customers who are currently subscribing to frame relay service and require an upgrade to digital network access.
Bell Canada filed this application on 1 June 2000 on behalf of and with the concurrence of Island Telecom Inc., Maritime Tel & Tel Limited, NBTel Inc. and NewTel Communications Inc.
The revisions to Item 301 of the National Services Tariff will take effect on 1 July 2000.
