Ottawa, 29 May 2000

TELUS Communications Inc.
Tariff Notice 221

Anonymous Caller Identification
The Commission approves on an interim basis TCI's request for an enhancement to the Call Display Plus feature called Anonymous Caller Identification.
Anonymous Caller ID will provide Call Display subscribers with greater control by allowing them to identify incoming calls that would otherwise display as "private", "unknown" or "out of area".
TCI filed this application on 1 May to revise Item 235 of its General Tariff.

These revisions will take effect on 9 June 2000.
Secretary General
