Order CRTC 2000-203

Ottawa, 15 March 2000
TELUS Communications (B.C.) Inc.
Tariff Notice 4037
Prime Loyalty promotion
The Commission denies TCBC's proposed Prime Loyalty Promotion. This promotion would provide single-line residential customers with the No Limits Personal Call Management Services at a reduced monthly rate.
The Commission considers that the proposed promotion is not substantially different from the existing promotion under Item 143.E.4. – No Limits Personal Call Management Services 6th Month Free Promotion. In this particular case, the combined period for the promotions would exceed 12 months, which is not allowed without a supporting imputation test.
TCBC filed an application on 3 February 2000 to revise Item 143 of its General Tariff.
