Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2000-8 dated 25 August 2000, at the Telus Convention Centre, 120 Ninth Avenue Southeast, Calgary, Alberta, the Commission announces the following:

 

FOLLOWING RECEIPT OF INTERVENTIONS, THE COMMISSION HAS DECIDED TO WITHDRAW THE FOLLOWING ITEM FROM THE PUBLIC HEARING AND RESCHEDULE IT AT A LATER DATE

 

ISSUE NO. 1, ITEM 21

 

OTTAWA/HULL

 

Application (200011586) by.COOPÉRATIVE RADIO VILLE-MARIE OUTAOUAIS, for a broadcasting licence to carry on a predominantly religious French-language FM radio programming undertaking at Ottawa/Hull. The new station would operate on frequency 97.9 MHz (channel 250B1) with an effective radiated power of 800 watts.

 

The programming will almost entirely be the same as CIRA-FM Montréal, Quebec. One hour per week of spoken word programming concerning the Outaouais region will be broadcast from Montréal.
