Application processed by Public Notice CRTC 2000-146 dated 24 October 2000

Licence amendment for TreeHouse TV

1.

The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the specialty television service TreeHouse TV by amending condition of licence no. 2 prohibiting the broadcast of programs offered by the specialty service YTV as follows:

2.a) Except as provided in subsection b, in any month, none of the programs broadcast by the licensee shall be broadcast by the specialty service YTV.

2.b) In December 2000, the licensee may broadcast up to a maximum of 10 hours of programming from categories 5a, 7 and 11, featuring a Christmas or Chanukah theme, and broadcast on YTV.

2.

The applicant states that this condition will allow it to make more special holiday programming available to pre-school children, during the month of December.
