Addition of U.S. signals

The Commission approves the application by Bell ExpressVu Inc. to amend the broadcasting licence for the national satellite relay distribution undertaking, by adding WCVB-TV (ABC), WBZ-TV (CBS), WFXT-TV (FOX) Boston, Massachusetts, KSTW (IND) Tacoma, Washington and the Deutsche Welle radio service, to the list of signals that it is authorized to distribute.

As part of its application, Bell ExpressVu requested that WFXT-TV (FOX) be added to the lists of Part 2 and Part 3 eligible satellite services. WFXT-TV does not currently appear on these lists.

In Public Notice CRTC 2000-133 of today’s date entitled Revised lists of eligible satellite services, the Commission has amended the lists to reflect the approval granted herein.
