Two year renewal

1.

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for CKVR-TV Barrie and its transmitter CKVR-TV-1 Parry Sound, from 1 September 2000 to 31 August 2002, subject to the terms and conditions in effect under the current licence.

2.

The Commission has granted an administrative renewal in order to consider renewal of this licence at the same time as that of CHUM Limited’s other television stations, which expire 31 August 2002.

3.

This renewal does not dispose of any relevant matters which may have arisen during the current licence term. Interested parties will have an opportunity to comment when the renewal application is considered by the Commission.
