Telecom Order CRTC 99-827

 

On 1 June 1999, Le Téléphone de St-Éphrem Inc. (St-Éphrem) filed Tariff Notice 8 with respect to its final 1999 Carrier Access Tariff (CAT).

1.The proposed final 1999 CAT rate takes into account the local rate increases implemented by the company on 1 July 1999 pursuant to Telecom Order CRTC 99-573, 23 June 1999.

 

2.The Commission notes that, in its local rate increase application, St-Éphrem stated that it will achieve a $0.02 per minute contribution rate in 2000.

 

3.No parties filed comments.

 

4.The Commission is of the view that the proposed CAT is reasonable.

 

5.In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:

 

(a) the proposed CAT of $0.0772 per minute with a Contribution rate of $0.0401 per minute and a Direct Toll rate of $0.0371 per minute is approved on a final basis effective 1 January 1999; and

 

(b) St-Éphrem is to issue forthwith revised tariff pages reflecting this determination.
