Addition of KSPS-TV (PBS) and KXLY-TV (ABC) Spokane, and deletion of WTVS (PBS) and WXYZ-TV (ABC) Detroit
1. The Commission approves the application to amend the Class 2 licence for the cable distribution undertaking serving Brooks, as follows:
· by deleting the condition of licence authorizing the distribution of WTVS (PBS) and WXYZ-TV (ABC) Detroit, Michigan, received via Cancom; and
· by adding a condition of licence authorizing the licensee to distribute, at its option, the programming services of KSPS-TV (PBS) and KXLY-TV (ABC) Spokane, Washington, as part of the basic service.
2. The licensee may receive any authorized signals over the air, or from any licensed or exempted Canadian broadcasting distribution undertaking authorized to provide signals to other broadcasting distribution undertakings. The Commission notes that the licensee will receive the above-noted signals via satellite.
