Licence renewal
1.  The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving the areas surrounding Murray River and Murray Harbour, from 1 September 1999 to 31 August 2006, subject to the conditions in effect under the current licence, as well as to those conditions specified in the licence to be issued.
2.  The licensee is authorized to distribute, in encrypted mode, the following services:
 CHCH-TV (IND) Hamilton
 WCBV (ABC) Boston
 WHDH (NBC) Boston
 WGBH-TV (PBS) Boston
 Atlantic Satellite Network (ASN)
 The Sports Network (TSN)
3.  The licensee is authorized to distribute these services on channels 17, 20, 23, 29, 54 and 62, each with a transmitter power of 20 watts, as certified by the Department of Industry.
4.  The Commission notes that this licensee is subject to the Employment Equity Act that came into effect on 24 October 1996 (1996 EEA), and therefore files reports concerning employment equity with Human Resources Development Canada. As a result of a consequential amendment to the Broadcasting Act, the Commission no longer has the authority to apply its employment equity policy to any undertaking that is subject to the 1996 EEA.
