The Commission has received the following
application: |

Application (199716289) by FAIRCHILD RADIO
(VANCOUVER FM) LTD. to amend the broadcasting licence to be issued for the FM
(radio) programming undertaking CHKF-FM Calgary, by changing the authorized
frequency from 88.9 MHz (channel 205C1) to 94.7 MHz (channel 234C1) and by
increasing the effective radiated power from 28,900 to 53,000 watts. |

The applicant also proposes to relocate the
transmitter to a site 15 kilometres to the Northwest of Calgary. |
|
This application is submitted further to
Decision CRTC 1996-728 that
directs the applicant to submit an amendment to the proposed technical
parameters predicated on the use of another frequency at Calgary. |
