Telecom Order CRTC 98-1086
On 30 September 1998, Prince Rupert City Telephones filed an application for approval of tariff revisions to General Tariff Item 25700-24, changing the rate structure for Internet service and providing the following: 1) creation of CityLink Hourly, to allow occasional users to access the Internet for an hourly fee of $1.25 subject to a minimum monthly charge of $5.00; 2) creation of CityLink Unlimited, to allow users to have unlimited access to the Internet plus web storage space and an E-mail address for a flat monthly fee of $29.95; 3) elimination of rates for 30, 50 and 100 hours per month Internet use and corresponding web home page; and 4) elimination of dedicated 56 KBPS access with and without rotor.

In light of the foregoing, the Commission orders that:
The proposed tariff revisions to become effective on 1 November 1998 are approved.
