The Commission has received the following applications:
1.  ACROSS CANADA
Application (199708343) by CANAL INDIGO, licensee of a French-language direct-to-home (DTH) pay-per-view television programming undertaking, to remove condition of licence 12 which reads:
 The licensee shall purchase non-proprietary exhibition rights for feature films from Canadian distributors. This includes any production other than the exceptions specified in the current Investment Canada policy, which defines proprietary rights as those where the world-wide distribution rights to the program are owned by the licensor, or where the licensor has provided not less than one-half of the cost of the creation of the film.

2. EASTERN CANADA
Application (199708335) by 3379868 CANADA INC. operating under the name Viewer's Choice Canada, P.O. Box 787, Toronto, Ontario, M5J 2T3, licensee of a regional English-language, direct-to-home (DTH) pay-per-view television programming undertaking, to remove the following conditions of licence:
i) to remove its condition of licence 11 which reads:
 The licensee shall ensure that the gross PPV revenues earned by any feature film are equally split three ways among itself, the licensee of the DTH distribution undertaking, and the rights holder.
ii) to remove its condition of licence 13 which reads:
 The licensee shall purchase non-proprietary distribution rights for feature films from Canadian distributors. This includes any production other than the exceptions specified in the current Investment Canada policy, which defines proprietary rights as those where the world-wide distribution rights to the program are owned by the licensor, or where the licensor has provided not less than one-half of the cost of the creation of the film.

Application (199706123) by ALLARCOM PAY TELEVISION LIMITED, licensee of a regional, English-language, direct-to-home (DTH) pay-per-view television programming undertaking, to remove the following conditions of licence:
i) to remove its condition of licence 10 which reads:
