Columbia Electoral Area "A" Television Rebroadcasting Society
Horse Creek, British Columbia - 199609137
Licence amendment
1. Following Public Notice CRTC 1997-40 dated 21 April 1997, the Commission approves the application to amend the licence for the radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving Horse Creek, as follows:
a) by relocating the transmitter to a location approximately 2.82 kilometers south of the currently authorized site;
b) by deleting the distribution of CHAN-TV (CTV) Vancouver, distributed on channel 8 with a transmitter power of 5 watts and of CFMI-FM New Westminster, distributed on the frequency 105.9 MHz with an effective radiated power of 43 watts; and
c) by adding the distribution, in non-encrypted mode, of the following programming services:
CHAN-TV (CTV) Vancouver
CITV-TV (IND) Edmonton
Open Learning Agency (Knowledge Network)
CFMI-FM (IND) New Westminster
2. The licensee is authorized to distribute the television services on channels 22, 25 and 28, each with a transmitter power of 20 watts, and the radio service on the frequency 104.7 MHz, with an effective radiated power of 5 watts.
3. The Commission notes that the above-noted Public Notice incorrectly stated that the new site would be located north of the currently authorized site.
4. The Commission acknowledges the intervention filed in support of this application.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
