Decision

Ottawa, 25 March 1997
Decision CRTC 97-118
Radio Nord inc.
Hull, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario - 199612510 - 199612528
Licence amendment for CHOT-TV and CFGS-TV
Following Public Notice CRTC 1997-13 dated 3 February 1997, the Commission approves the applications to amend the broadcasting licences for the television programming undertakings CHOT-TV and CFGS-TV Hull, by authorizing the licensee to add auxiliary studios at Ottawa.
The Commission notes that news bulletins will continue to be produced and assembled in the Hull studios. The licensee will produce in the Ottawa studios, 1 hour and 36 minutes for CHOT-TV and 28 minutes and 30 seconds for CFGS-TV, of programming other than news. The licensee indicated that it will concentrate on the production of French-language programming and the coverage of major political events from Parliament Hill.
This decision is to be appended to each licence.
