The Commission has received the following application:
1. ACROSS CANADA
Application (952959500) by the CANADIAN SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS INC. (Cancom) to amend the broadcasting licence of the multiple channel television and radio broadcasting (relay) distribution undertaking, by adding the National Assembly proceedings channel to the list of signals that it is authorized to distribute.
The Canadian Satellite Communications Inc. (Cancom) proposes to charge its affiliates the following average rates per subscriber per month for the distribution of this service: Class I - $0.15; Class II with 2000 or more subscribers - $0.15; Class II with less than 2000 subscribers - $0.20 and Part III - $0.25.

In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of the hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;
Your intervention will be considered by the Commission, and will form part of the public record of the proceeding without further notification to you, provided the procedure set out above has been followed. You will be contacted only if your submission raises procedural questions.
