The Commission has received the following applications:

ONTARIO REGION

1.  LONDON, Ontario

Application (199604484) by RADIO FANSHAWE INC. to amend the Promise of Performance of CIXX-FM London, Ontario by:

a) increasing the number of times a distinct musical selection is broadcast per week from 13 to 18, and

b) decreasing the number of hours of formal educational programming from 6 to 2 hours per broadcast week.

2.  TILLSONBURG, Ontario

Application (952905800) by TILLSONBURG BROADCASTING CO. LTD. to amend the broadcasting license to carry on the (radio) programming undertaking for CKOT-FM Tillsonburg, by:

a) reducing the level of instrumental selections from at least 50% of all musical selections played each week to at least 35% of all musical selections played each week; and

b) adopting the following conditions:

- that the licensee, during each broadcast week where the number of instrumental musical selections amounts to 50% or more of all musical selections, devote 15% or more of the musical selections from content category 2 to Canadian selections and schedule those selections in a reasonable manner throughout each broadcast day;

- that the licensee, during each broadcast week where the number of instrumental musical selections amounts to at least 35% but less than 50% of all musical selections, devote 20% or more of the musical selections from content category 2 to Canadian selections and schedule those selections in a reasonable manner throughout each broadcast day.
