The Commission has received the following applications:

Application (199607470) by WESTMAN MEDIA CO-OPERATIVE LTD. to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving Brandon, as follows:
-  by deleting the condition of licence authorizing the distribution, at its option, of WTOL-TV (CBS) Toledo, Ohio and WDIV (NBC) Detroit, Michigan, as part of the basic service; and
-  by adding a condition of licence authorizing the distribution, at its option, of WCCO-TV (CBS) and KARE-TV (NBC) Minneapolis, Minnesota, as part of the basic service.

Application (199607818) by CKUA RADIO FOUNDATION, 10526 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, T5J 1Z7, to amend the broadcating licence of the (radio) programming undertaking CKUA-FM Edmonton, Alberta, by increasing the effective radiated power of the transmitter CKUA-FM-1 Calgary from 16,000 to 100,000 watts.
The Commission notes that the proposed changes will improve the signal quality and extend the coverage area of the station.

-  a true copy MUST be sent to the applicant and a proof of such sending must accompany the original sent to the Commission;
-  the intervention must be received by the CRTC and by the applicant ON OR BEFORE the deadline date indicated below. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays;
