The Commission has received applications for the following licensees from Bragg Communications Incorporated, P.O. Box 280, Oxford, Nova Scotia, B0M 1P0, to amend the broadcasting licences of the (cable) distribution undertakings, by adding a condition of licence authorizing the licensees to distribute, at their option, on the basic service, the programming services of WHDH (NBC), WGBH-TV (PBS), WBZ-TV (CBS) and WCBV-TV (ABC) Boston, Massachusetts, received via satellite.

The licensees propose to delete the currently authorized programming services of WXYZ-TV (ABC) and WTOL-TV (CBS) Detroit, Michigan, and depending on the authorized distributions of these undertakings, either WDIV-TV (NBC)/WTVS (PBS) Detroit, Michigan or WLBZ-TV (NBC) Bangor and WMED-TV (PBS) Calais, Maine.

- your intervention should clearly identify the application and indicate whether you support or oppose the application, or if you propose changes to it, with facts and grounds therefor. In the event that the application is brought to the oral phase of the hearing it would be helpful to the Commission if you provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;
