Licence amendment
|
|
Following Public Notice CRTC 1996-61 dated 2 May 1996, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence of the cable distribution undertaking serving the above-mentioned localities, by relieving the licensee, by condition of licence, of the requirement of paragraph 9(1)(d) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 to distribute, on the basic band, the programming service of the regional television station CJBR-TV Rimouski, a station owned and operated by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

The licensee will distribute, on the basic band, the signal of CKRT-TV Rivière-du-Loup, a local station affiliated to the CBC French-language television network, and will continue to distribute CJBR-TV as part of the basic service.

This decision is to be appended to the licence.
