Decision

Ottawa, 11 June 1996
Decision CRTC 96-198
Kluane Lake Athletic Association
Destruction Bay and Burwash Landing, Yukon Territory - 952198000
Decrease in power for CFDB-TV
Following Public Notice CRTC 1996-54 dated 17 April 1996, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the radiocommunication distribution undertaking CFDB-TV Destruction Bay/Burwash Landing by decreasing the transmitter power from 37 watts to 10 watts.
The Commission notes that the licensee also proposes to relocate the transmitter to a new site approximately 1.46 kilometres southeast of the present site, for which no approval is required. The Commission also notes that these changes will not significantly affect CFDB-TV's coverage area.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
Allan J. Darling
Secretary General
