    Decision

    Ottawa, 25 April 1996
    Decision CRTC 96-115
Lac La Biche, Alberta - 952319200
     Licence amendment for CFRN-TV-4 Ashmont
Following Public Notice CRTC 1996-21 dated 15 February 1996, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CFRN-TV-4 Ashmont by increasing the effective radiated power of its transmitter CFRN-TV-5 Lac La Biche from 350 watts to 2,130 watts.
The Commission notes that this proposed increase coupled with an increase in the height of the antenna will improve the signal quality and extend the coverage area of the station.
The Commission acknowledges the intervention received in support of this application.
This decision is to be appended to the licence.
     Allan J. Darling
     Secretary General
