Decision

Ottawa, 7 September 1995
Decision CRTC 95-682
Vidéotron Ltée
Saint-Félicien, Dolbeau and La Doré, Quebec - 950933200 - 950934000 - 950935700
Licence amendments
Following Public Notice CRTC 1995-109 dated 7 July 1995, the Commission approves the applications to amend the licences of the above-mentionned cable distribution undertakings by:
-  deleting the distant head ends located at Mont St-Bruno and Mont St-Eugène for the Saint-Félicien and Dolbeau undertakings; and
-  deleting the local head ends at Dolbeau and La Doré and maintaining only one head end at Saint-Félicien to serve the three undertakings.
With respect to the La Doré undertaking, the Commission approves the licensee's request with respect to section 23 of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 (the regulations). Accordingly, it is a condition of licence that the licensee be relieved of the requirement that it distribute at least four television programming services as provided for in section 23 of the regulations, so long as it distributes only those U.S. television services listed in the current application or as may be authorized by the Commission.
