Decision CRTC 95-333
Regional Cable TV (Central) Inc.
Sainte-Angèle-de-Prémont, Quebec - 950237800
Relief from the requirement to distribute CBMT-1 Trois-Rivières
Following Public Notice CRTC 1995-55 dated 10 April 1995, the Commission approves, by condition of licence, the application by Regional Cable TV (Central) Inc. to be relieved of the requirement of paragraph 22(1)(b) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 to distribute regional signal CBMT-1 (CBC) Trois-Rivières on the basic service of its undertaking because of the poor reception quality of this signal. The licensee proposes to distribute instead CBMT (CBC) Montréal, received over the air.
The Commission notes that CBMT-1 rebroadcasts in its entirety the programming of CBMT.
