CRTC Exhibit 1 - Review of wholesale mobile wireless services – Notice of Consultation 2014-76

To assist parties and to avoid confusion, Commission questions will be based on the following definitions when referring to tower sharing services, site sharing services and tower and site sharing services:

• Tower sharing services: arrangements that permit wireless carriers to install their wireless equipment on other parties’ towers, including access to ancillary equipment and other services;
• Site sharing services: arrangements that permit wireless carriers to install their wireless equipment on other parties’ non-tower structures (such as buildings, building rooftops, water towers, billboards or lamp posts) and/or the land on which such structures are situated, including access to ancillary equipment and other services; and
• Tower and site sharing services: arrangements that permit wireless carriers to install their wireless equipment on other parties’ structures (such as towers, buildings, building rooftops, water towers, billboards or lamp posts) and/the land on which such structures are situated, including access to ancillary equipment and other services.
